Position Objective:
The Account Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with existing company clients, providing continuous support and collaborating with the operations team to ensure effective shipment tracking. This position also focuses on identifying opportunities to generate more business with current clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned client portfolio.
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular and effective communication.
- Understand client needs and expectations to offer appropriate solutions.
- Trip Coordination and Tracking:
- Collaborate with the operations team to coordinate and supervise shipment tracking.
- Ensure trips are carried out according to established agreements and resolve any issues that arise.
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their shipments.
- Business Development:
- Identify and propose opportunities to expand services offered to current clients.
- Develop strategies to increase business volume with each account.
- Prepare and present additional commercial proposals for clients.
- Problem Resolution:
- Handle and resolve client complaints or problems efficiently and professionally.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure quick and effective resolution.
- Document and follow incidents to prevent recurrences.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain detailed records of account activities and client communication in the CRM.
- Analyze account performance and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Monitor trends and changes in client needs to adjust strategies.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, International Commerce, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in account management, preferably in the logistics or services sector.
- Experience in customer service and problem resolution.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the logistics industry and client needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to work in teams and coordinate with different departments.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and shipment tracking software.
